Below are some examples calligraphed by Su Demao.
Do take note that in Chinese Calligraphy, words are read from right to left.

“千里始足下,高山起微尘。吾道亦如此,行之贵日新”
白居易五绝诗一首。
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step; even high mountains are made of tiny specks of dust. My pursuit is like this too; every day is an opportunity to learn and seek new experiences.
Bai Juyi, Tang Dynasty Poet
The first poem expresses the idea that challenges and obstacles are necessary for growth and development, just as snow, frost, mountains, and rivers are essential to the natural world. Without these obstacles, life would be too easy and meaningless. The comparison between pine and grass highlights the resilience and adaptability of life. As pine can thrive even in difficult circumstances.
The second poem emphasizes the importance of persistence and steady progress in achieving one's goals, using the metaphor of a long journey and the gradual accumulation of effort.

Even the fisherman's boat is overturned,
